Wow! Davido reacts to Atiku’s statement about him
If you recall, The presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar declared Davido “King of Nigerian Music” yesterday in a question and answer video.
“OUR INCOMING PRESIDENT KNOWS WASSUP!!!!!!! ATIKU GOD BLESS YOU SIR !!”
Davido is well known to boast of his affiliations with big names and accomplishments. He sure didn’t hesitate to declare Atiku’s statement as fact!
You don’t necessarily need to be an astute follower of the Nigerian music industry to know that the two biggest names on the lips of everyone are Wizkid and Davido.
The ever stoked rivalry between this two, especially by fans since Davido came into the industry, seems to know no end.
Now, this declaration of Davido being the king of Nigerian music might not go down well with a lot of people, and maybe for Wizkid also who has maintained a low profile in recent times.
However, Wizkid appeared in an instagram post 3 days ago by the United Bank of Africa (UBA) Chairman Tony Elumelu ahead of the bank’s launch in Mali. Wizkid also made a post a day after, thanking him for the time.
Wizkid appeared to be very attentive to what Elumelu was showing him on his mobile device. Overall, he looked humble.
